Andy E. was born in Sweden in 1979. Music and playing instruments started early on with Violin and Piano as main instruments. At the age of fourteen Andy E. picked up the acoustic guitar for the first time. As main musical influences came from hard rock and heavy metal, it was a pretty instant choice to quickly get hold of an electric guitar (a Fender strat. what else...). Secondly getting hold of an amp (Marshall. what else...)
After years of intense practicing and playing with some local garage bands, the musical focus was temporary shifted from Guitar to Piano and Choir music. Conducting choir and coaching vocals was given priority for a number of years, but the guitar was always present and given a decent level of attention...
In 2017 Andy E. started the project of writing and recording own instrumental compositions, having the guitar as the main instrument. What would eventually evolve into the debut album is a set of tracks, not compromising with anything or anyone. Andy E. pushing himself to the very limit of his capabilities, and letting his technique and musical ambitions bloom in full, leaves a result in a record filled with brilliant melodies and harmonies, as well as jaw dropping guitar work.
